If you and your girlfriend have split up then you may be very sad and upset. It is not a nice situation to be in at all. The pain involved can make it difficult to lead a normal life, even sleeping can be hard. But all is not lost, you can learn how to get your ex girlfriend back by using the following techniques. Take time to understand exactly how to go about it as you do not want to drive her into another man's arms.

1. Don't get jealous if you see her out with her friends enjoying herself. There is no need for her to be miserable as she is the one that has made the decision to separate. If you approach her and start criticising then you are only going to lessen the chances of getting back together.

2. It makes sense to avoid the locations at which you know she will be. Give her some space. If there are certain cafes and bars that you know she attends then avoid them for a week or two.

3. It can help to not make any communication to her for at least ten days. Do not send her text messages or emails and definitely do not phone her. By doing this it will make her more likely to get in contact with you.

4. It is essential to stay emotionally strong. If you appear weak and cry in front of her then it will not help your situation. Think back to when you got together; did you beg and cry then?
